Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Counter Sales Associate to join our team at our Glen Bernie, Maryland location. As a Counter Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and working effectively with colleagues to meet sales and customer satisfaction goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide prompt and courteous service to customers, answering questions and resolving issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain a high level of knowledge about our products, including auto parts and accessories, and be able to make recommendations to customers.
  • Sales and Merchandising: Meet or exceed sales targets, while maintaining a high level of store appearance and merchandising standards.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and management, using effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned, including participating in training and development programs, and contributing to team goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Previous sales or customer service experience preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently, and to stand for long periods of time.
  • Other: Clean driving record, and a professional working attitude.
