Pulmonary Critical Care Medical Director

MedStar Health seeks a visionary leader to direct and develop critical care services at MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital Center. As Critical Care Medicine Program Director, you will be responsible for strategic development, recruitment, and performance metrics focused on quality care and safety.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement critical care services strategy
- Recruit and lead a team of critical care professionals
- Establish and track performance metrics for quality and safety
- Collaborate with medical teams and families to ensure excellent patient care
- Board certification/eligibility in critical care medicine
- Minimum 5 years of critical care experience
- Commitment to clinical excellence and broad cognitive and technical skills
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
Our 358-bed hospital serves approximately 65,000 emergency room patients and 20,000 admissions annually. Located in Clinton, Maryland, we offer a unique blend of small-town charm and metropolitan convenience.
