We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to lead our development team at Space Coast Intelligent Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying software applications using various technologies.

Job Description

Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for leading a small team of developers and test engineers. Your primary duties will include addressing assigned tickets and tasks, coding fixes, and code reviews. You will also be responsible for building and deploying components to WebLogic, maintaining and updating Acceptance Testing documentation, and building automated tests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a small team of developers and test engineers
  • Address assigned tickets and tasks
  • Coding fixes and code reviews
  • Build and deploy components to WebLogic
  • Maintain and update Acceptance Testing documentation
  • Build automated tests
  • Maintain SCIS development environment
  • Maintain Customer development environment
  • Create and test deliveries

Requirements

  • Security+ Certification
  • Service-oriented architecture experience
  • Microservices experience
  • AWS experience
  • Relational Database Management System experience (SQL, PLSQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
  • Java with Spring
  • VueJS/GWT
  • GitLab: Ticketing boards; Software version control; CI/CD Pipeline

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related degree with five years of relevant experience; an additional 4 years of related experience may be considered in lieu of degree

Security Clearance

  • TS/SCI or TS with ability to obtain SCI
