We are eager to support your career development and help you achieve your professional aspirations. We are currently seeking a Construction Supervisor with expertise in self-performed mechanical and/or concrete operations, ideally with experience in water and wastewater treatment facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategically plans and coordinates construction tasks, including the management of subcontractor activities.
  • Develops and maintains two-week look-ahead schedules.
  • Prioritizes and sequences construction tasks to optimize efficiency and address potential challenges.
  • Actively engages in health, safety, quality, and environmental initiatives.
  • Oversees and directs work in areas such as concrete construction, structural steel erection, and other heavy civil projects.
  • Ensures proper maintenance of equipment.
  • Manages the storage, security, and upkeep of specific tools and manuals.
  • Identifies necessary equipment, materials, and resources for project execution.
  • Provides insights into cost-saving strategies.
  • Monitors financial aspects including cost control, job costing, quantity reporting, forecasting, and productivity.
  • Supervises and mentors field personnel.
  • Champions PCL's Behavior-Based Safety program by leading by example, conducting safety meetings, educating teams on workplace hazards, and implementing accident reporting procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Over 10 years of hands-on craft and/or supervisory experience in highway and bridge construction.
  • A minimum of 4 years in a supervisory role, leading teams in concrete construction, structural steel, or related fields.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and confidently in group settings.
  • Proficient in writing reports with proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Certification in First Aid, CPR, and OSHA training; skilled in the safe use of hand and power tools.
  • Willingness to work extended hours in varying environmental conditions.
  • Flexibility to relocate to project sites as needed.
