Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at The Las Olas Company / Riverside Hotel. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for mixing and serving a variety of drinks to our patrons, ensuring exceptional customer service and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to patrons, adhering to our beverage control systems and recipe methods.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for our guests.
  • Manage cash transactions, maintain accurate bank records, and issue proper change to guests.
  • Perform daily inventory of beer, wine, and liquors, and receive and check Daily Requisitions from the Storeroom.
  • Prepare juices and garnish items as needed, and maintain the overall cleanliness of the bar area.
  • Complete required paperwork at the end of each shift, and ensure the bar is left in top condition for the next shift.
Requirements
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required, including close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
Working Conditions

The Bartender will be frequently exposed to outside weather conditions and will work in a moderate noise level environment.

Equipment Used
  • Properly using the dish machine to clean and sanitize dish and glassware.
