We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Technician to join our team at Hospital for Behavioral Medicine. As a key member of our treatment team, you will provide high-quality patient care, supervision, and support to individuals with mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities- Take and record vital signs accurately and efficiently
- Utilize sound judgment during patient assessments and document any changes in patient condition
- Communicate effectively with the charge nurse and treatment team
- Implement therapeutic interventions as outlined by the treatment plan
- Ensure patient awareness of individualized care plans and goals
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- High School Degree or equivalent preferred
- One year of related experience in psychiatric patient care
- CPR certification and CPI training within 30 days of employment
