About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Technician to join our team at Hospital for Behavioral Medicine. As a key member of our treatment team, you will provide high-quality patient care, supervision, and support to individuals with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take and record vital signs accurately and efficiently
  • Utilize sound judgment during patient assessments and document any changes in patient condition
  • Communicate effectively with the charge nurse and treatment team
  • Implement therapeutic interventions as outlined by the treatment plan
  • Ensure patient awareness of individualized care plans and goals
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • High School Degree or equivalent preferred
  • One year of related experience in psychiatric patient care
  • CPR certification and CPI training within 30 days of employment
