Job Title: Business Development Manager

Burns & McDonnell is a global leader in the AEC industry, delivering innovative solutions to complex challenges. We're seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth and expansion in the electric utility market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement business development and marketing strategies to drive profitable growth
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, client relationship development, and market research
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop sales and marketing plans and activities
  • Manage client-focused strategies and action plans to create a competitive advantage for the firm
  • Develop and deliver training presentations on proposal communications, proposal strategies, and business development
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing, business development, or sales promotion
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to present complex information to all levels of employees, management, and clients
