Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to join our team at Open Systems Technologies. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective EHS programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and promoting a culture of safety and health within our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Conduct site visits and provide support to site teams to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Investigate and analyze EHS incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Develop and maintain EHS training programs for employees, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their jobs safely and effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate EHS risks, ensuring the company's overall EHS performance is optimized.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in EHS, engineering, science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in EHS leadership, with a strong focus on health and safety.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective EHS programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and coach leaders to prioritize EHS.
  • Ability to analyze complex EHS data, identify trends, and develop actionable recommendations.
