About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to join our team at SDL Search Partners. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of a portfolio of clients, including month-end close, financial statement preparation, and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all corporate accounting functions for a portfolio of clients
  • Partner with Controllers and Accounting leadership teams to drive business growth and improvement
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including quarterly and annual reports
  • Manage month-end close, reconciliations, and cash management processes
  • Develop and implement budgeting and financial planning processes
  • Lead and mentor junior staff members to ensure high-quality work and professional development
  • Implement process improvements and efficiencies to drive business growth and efficiency
  • Support annual audit efforts and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements
  • 4+ years of public accounting experience, with a focus on nonprofit clients
  • CPA certification preferred, but not required
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead teams and drive business growth
