Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial and Regulatory Reporting, TSR Operations Officer to join our team at State Street Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing semi-annual and annual TSR regulatory filings for various clients. You will engage with clients and internal State Street teams to resolve issues and answer inquiries to progress each reporting cycle to completion.

Key Responsibilities

As a Financial and Regulatory Reporting, TSR Operations Officer, you will:
  • Manage the regulatory reporting production process, calendar, and relationship for various clients, ensuring timely completion of production schedules.
  • Perform 1st, 2nd, risk-based, and targeted reviews on client TSR regulatory filings, ensuring all regulatory filings are made on time and client drafts are delivered timely.
  • Be responsible for client communication and implementation of new regulatory requirements/disclosures that impact reporting.
  • Manage the implementation of all standard practices, processes, tools, and initiatives, as well as technology enhancements.
  • Manage relationships with clients, ensuring requests are met and clients are satisfied with the level of service.
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to staff, allocate and coordinate resources, and handle personnel-related issues.

Requirements

  • Ability to effectively manage a team of professionals, planning work and resource allocation, and providing feedback and development.
  • Ability to develop business relationships, both within and outside the organization, with excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage staff in numerous locations, as well as remotely and in a hybrid working environment.
  • Ability to effectively handle and resolve numerous ongoing communications and reporting deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to drive change and process improvements, while managing day-to-day activities in a reporting cycle.

Education and Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with a BS degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field, with a CPA or MBA preferred. Six or more years of experience in mutual funds fund administration, financial reporting, or accounting, audit, or related business activity is required. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills are essential. Alteryx Gallery and/or SQL experience is a plus.
