Medical Imaging Technologist

Become a vital part of our healthcare team at Lakeview Memorial Hospital Association as a Medical Imaging Technologist. In this role, you will conduct x-ray examinations on patients across all age groups while collaborating closely with Radiologists. A solid grasp of medical vocabulary, excellent interpersonal skills, and the capability to manage multiple tasks efficiently are essential for success in this position. You should be adept at working autonomously and have expertise in General Radiology, Portable Imaging, Fluoroscopy, and Emergency Department Radiology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute x-ray imaging on neonates, children, adolescents, adults, and elderly patients
  • Support Radiologists as required
  • Exhibit proficiency in medical terminology
  • Engage effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
  • Operate independently in diverse radiological environments

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an AMA accredited Radiologic Technology Program
  • ARRT registration
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Strong communication abilities
  • General administrative skills
  • Capability to fulfill the physical requirements of the role
