Job Summary:

As a Radiologic Technologist at Stillwater Medical, you will be responsible for operating diagnostic X-Ray and CT equipment, performing data manipulation and processing, and thoroughly explaining procedures to patients. You will also be required to position and immobilize patients on exam tables, review and evaluate orders, images, video, and computer-generated information, and perform venipuncture. Additionally, you will be responsible for accurately completing paperwork and information for patients' medical records, and recording, processing, and maintaining patient data into the EMR/PACs system.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate diagnostic X-Ray and CT equipment
  • Perform data manipulation and processing
  • Explain procedures to patients
  • Position and immobilize patients on exam tables
  • Review and evaluate orders, images, video, and computer-generated information
  • Perform venipuncture
  • Accurately complete paperwork and information for patients' medical records
  • Record, process, and maintain patient data into the EMR/PACs system


Requirements:
  • Graduated from a JCERT-approved Radiological Technology training program with at least one year of clinical experience
  • Current ARRT (CT) registry card on file, or registry eligible, or ARRT (R) registered and/or actively pursuing CT advanced certification
  • Communicates effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Current CPR card or completion of course within 30 days of hire


Physical Requirements:
  • Able to work in a latex-burdened environment
  • Must have strength and stamina for prolonged walking and standing
  • Able to frequently lift to 60 pounds, reach, pull, bend, stoop, and kneel
  • Demonstrates adequate vision or correctable glasses to read, write, and evaluate medical images
  • Able to hear or correctable with hearing devices and able to talk to converse with others in person and over the telephone
  • Able to hear, see, and feel to accurately observe, monitor, and administer care
  • Possess fine motor skills and hand/eye coordination to give care (i.e., operate imaging equipment, venipuncture)
