Key Responsibilities
  • Assess the reliability of materials and techniques utilized in production; conceptualize, design, and develop electronic components, integrated circuits, mechanical systems, and optical systems.
  • Under general supervision, create and enhance equipment, processes, and systems that encompass data networks and communication technologies.
  • Evaluate equipment specifications and process requirements to devise practical designs.
  • Determine the feasibility of designs from both technical and economic viewpoints.
  • Collaborate with research engineers and customer representatives to troubleshoot design challenges.
  • Develop and uphold technical documentation, procedures, and manuals. Analyze operational data and conduct tests to establish standards for new designs or modifications.
  • Investigate and identify hardware vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct hardware failure analysis, including researching repair methods for damaged components to recover information.
  • Engage in advanced hardware exploitation to bypass security measures on hardware.
  • Analyze core hardware and software elements to organize raw binary structured data.
  • Examine wired and wireless network traffic using analysis tools.
  • Perform reverse engineering tasks.
Qualifications
  • Active Top Secret clearance with the potential for upgrade to TS/SCI with CI Polygraph.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline with 8 years of relevant experience; an additional 4 years of experience may substitute for the degree.
  • 4+ years of experience in reverse engineering electronic circuits.
  • 4+ years of experience in hardware design and layout.
  • 4+ years of experience in designing, developing, and testing printed circuit board (PCB) projects.
  • 3+ years of experience with system-level buses and interfaces (I2C, USB, JTAG, HID, etc.).
  • 4+ years of experience with testing equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
  • Proficient in low-level processor programming and configuration.
  • 2+ years of experience in advanced hardware exploitation techniques.
