About the Role

The Plumbing Superintendent position at Power Design is a critical leadership role that requires a skilled and experienced professional to oversee the project team and ensure the successful completion of projects on time, with high-quality results, and a strong focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of field project members, providing guidance, training, and evaluation to ensure their success.
  • Develop and implement project plans, organizing and directing the production of contracted scope of work to meet schedule and quality standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, inspectors, and other trades, ensuring excellent customer service and resolving any conflicts that may arise.
  • Ensure all installations meet quality and mechanical code standards, adhering to Power Design's standards of quality, safety, and best practices.
  • Manage material and personnel requirements necessary to meet schedule, coordinating with other trades and the general contractor as needed.
Requirements
  • OSHA 30 certification is preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience as a skilled field supervisor, managing crews and running multimillion-dollar construction projects.
  • An active Plumbing license is required.
  • Proficient knowledge of the International Plumbing Code (IPC), local codes, and construction safety requirements.
  • Basic computer and writing skills are necessary.
