The Product Development Engineer will play a crucial role in all phases of product creation, including ideation, design, testing, validation, prototyping, and quality assurance. Collaborating with a focused team of engineers, this position is vital in transforming high-performance sporting goods from initial concepts to market-ready products. Candidates should possess a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience and a desire to deepen their understanding of the comprehensive product development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conceptualization and evaluation of product ideas
  • Creation of CAD models for product designs
  • Hands-on prototyping utilizing 3D printing technologies
  • Conducting laboratory tests on products, components, and concepts
  • Development of product specifications and technical drawings
  • Analysis and interpretation of test data
  • Assisting in the establishment of quality control methods and documentation
  • Coordinating directly with suppliers, including international partners

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Industrial Design
  • At least 2 years of experience in product development
  • Proficiency in CAD software
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Self-driven and energetic

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Competency in Solidworks
  • Practical experience with physical product testing
  • Experience in the development of sporting goods
  • Knowledge of injection molding processes
  • Familiarity with soft goods development
  • Strong understanding of material science and failure analysis
