Utility Arborist

We are seeking an experienced Utility Arborist - Vegetation Management Specialist to join our team in Abilene, TX. This role is ideal for professionals with a background in rangeland management, forestry, horticulture, or natural resources, and experience in vegetation management or related fields.

• Perform identification, inspection, and evaluation of vegetation along utility lines.
• Submit inspection results to clients with recommendations.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate the activities of assigned clearance crews.
• Discuss and negotiate line-clearance crew access issues.
• Serve as a liaison between clients, work crews, and client customers.

• A 2 or 4-year degree in Rangeland Management, Forestry, Horticulture, Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management, or closely related field.
• In lieu of a degree, 2 years of experience in Utility Vegetation Management or other related field.
• Vegetation management experience preferred.
• Competent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience working with GIS integrated data collection software/hardware preferred but not required.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $37,800 based on an hourly rate of $18.18, assuming a standard full-time schedule.
