About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our ER team at Pieper Veterinary. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our veterinarians and other staff members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including restraint, venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and anesthesia.
  • Assist veterinarians with medical procedures and surgeries.
  • Monitor and maintain anesthesia equipment and supplies.
  • Perform phlebotomy and other laboratory procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless patient care and efficient hospital operations.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology or equivalent experience.
  • Current CVT license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
  • Knowledge of anesthesia and monitoring techniques.
  • Phlebotomy skills and experience with laboratory procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
