Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting residents in assisted living facilities, skilled nursing facilities, and other post-acute care settings
  • Assisting residents with mobility, personal hygiene, feeding, and other daily living activities
  • Monitoring residents throughout your shift and communicating any concerns to the nursing team
  • Taking vital signs and reporting any irregularities to supervising staff
  • Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene by changing linens and assisting with room upkeep
  • Transferring residents to and from wheelchairs, beds, and examination tables
  • Providing companionship and a compassionate presence to residents and their families
  • Effectively communicating with visitors, family members, and staff
  • Adhering to and following resident care plans diligently
Qualifications and Skills
  • Current certification as a Compassionate Patient Care Assistant
  • Familiarity with nursing care protocols and medical terminology
  • Strong organizational skills and effective communication abilities
  • Capability to lift at least 50 lbs
  • High attention to detail
