Job Description

The Student Worker - General Utility Worker is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of dishes, equipment, and kitchen utensils. This role also involves performing other serviceable duties as assigned by management.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining all dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, equipment, and kitchen utensils are cleaned and sanitized.
  2. Maintain the dishwashing station, three-compartment sink, and related areas cleaned.
  3. Ensure equipment is clean and in working condition; report any issues to management.
  4. Perform other light maintenance and custodial tasks.
  5. Maintain excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards guests, customers, clients, and co-workers.
  6. Adhere to Aramark safety policies and procedures, including proper food safety and sanitation.
  7. Ensure the security of company assets.

Qualifications
  1. Demonstrate an understanding of basic sanitation procedures.
  2. Must be able to follow basic safety procedures due to exposure to hazardous chemicals.
  3. Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

This role may have physical demands, including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or the usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
