Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Media Manager to spearhead media investment and negotiation strategies across various channels in the United States.
The ideal candidate will possess a blend of media strategy expertise, project management skills, and analytical capabilities. They should be adept at working independently while also collaborating effectively with both internal and external stakeholders, including media companies and agencies.
A strong passion for the entertainment sector, coupled with excellent communication skills, is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Negotiate and secure investment agreements with media partners in conjunction with the media agency.
- Serve as a strategic ally to the media planning team, identifying key media partners and aligning on strategic objectives.
- Act as a thought leader by exploring and assessing innovative media platforms to engage audiences.
- Analyze channel performance to optimize media mix and inform investment strategies.
- Manage relationships with media partners, establishing best practices and fostering a culture of experimentation.
- Collaborate with corporate business development, ad sales, and other Amazon divisions to unlock mutually beneficial opportunities.
- Execute agreements in partnership with the media team to ensure all requirements are fulfilled.
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in planning and executing media strategies across various channels, including television, print, digital, cinema, mobile, and out-of-home.
- Proven ability to influence key stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in developing investment strategies with media partners, such as during TV Upfronts.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong decision-making abilities.
