Position Overview:
The Housekeeping Specialist plays a crucial role in upholding the cleanliness and maintenance of designated areas within the hotel. This position involves ensuring that guest rooms and public spaces meet our high standards of hygiene and comfort.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily maintenance of marble floors in accordance with hotel standards.
  • Shampooing carpets in public areas to ensure a clean environment.
  • Cleaning and maintaining furniture as required.
  • Providing luggage assistance to guests in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Managing lost and found items according to established procedures.
  • Cleaning guest rooms as necessary to maintain quality standards.
  • Understanding and assisting in emergency procedures as needed.
  • Ensuring all hotel equipment is in proper working condition.
  • Organizing storage areas for hotel equipment appropriately.
  • Completing special projects as directed by the Housekeeping Manager.
  • Striving to ensure overall guest satisfaction through attentive service.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent; experience in hospitality or a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to exert physical force, lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally, and 50 pounds frequently.
  • Capability to stand for the duration of the shift.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with guests and team members in a courteous and service-oriented manner.
