Position Overview:
The Housekeeping Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of designated areas within the hotel. This position involves a variety of tasks aimed at maintaining high standards of hygiene and presentation throughout the property.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily maintenance of marble flooring to meet hotel standards.
  • Shampooing carpets in public spaces as per established guidelines.
  • Upholstery cleaning as required.
  • Providing luggage assistance with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Managing lost and found items according to company protocols.
  • Cleaning guest rooms as necessary.
  • Assisting in emergency procedures when required.
  • Ensuring all hotel equipment is in good working condition.
  • Organizing storage areas for hotel supplies and equipment.
  • Completing special assignments as directed by the Housekeeping Manager.
  • Striving for overall guest satisfaction in all tasks performed.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred, along with relevant experience in hospitality or a related field.
  • Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 100 pounds occasionally, and 50 pounds frequently.
  • Capability to stand for extended periods during shifts.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on courteous and attentive service.
