Position Overview:
The Housekeeping Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of all designated areas within the hotel. This position involves delivering essential items to guest rooms and maintaining high standards of hygiene and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily maintenance of marble floors in accordance with hotel standards.
  • Shampoo carpets in public spaces to uphold cleanliness standards.
  • Attend to furniture cleaning as required.
  • Assist guests with luggage in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Manage lost and found items following hotel protocols.
  • Clean guest rooms as necessary to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Be knowledgeable about and assist in all emergency procedures.
  • Maintain hotel equipment in optimal working condition.
  • Organize storage of hotel equipment appropriately.
  • Complete special assignments as directed by the Housekeeping Manager.
  • Strive to ensure overall guest satisfaction through attentive service.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred, along with experience in hospitality or a related field.
  • Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
  • Capability to stand for the duration of the shift.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating attentiveness and courtesy towards guests and colleagues.
