Physical Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Physical Therapy Aide to join our team at Professional Physical Therapy. As a Physical Therapy Aide, you will play a vital role in supporting our licensed Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants in providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with patient flow within the facility, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for our patients.
- Guide patients through their prescribed exercise programs, providing clear instructions and demonstrations.
- Apply your academic knowledge in a clinical healthcare setting, gaining valuable experience and skills.
- Maintain and clean treating tables, ensuring a clean and safe environment for our patients.
- Assist with washing laundry and adhering to all HIPAA and OSHA laws and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with patients, co-workers, and the general public, providing excellent customer service.
- Stand for long periods of time, squat, and stoop as required, and may be required to move heavy equipment and lift or move patients (up to 100 pounds).
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with patients, co-workers, and the general public.
- Students in Physical Therapy or Physical Therapist Assistant programs are strongly preferred.
- Part-time employees are eligible to accrue sick time based on the Massachusetts Sick Leave Law.
