Job Summary

The Graphic Designer is a key member of our team at Excell Marketing, L.C., responsible for creating visually appealing packaging designs for our products and contributing to various marketing communication activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop packaging for retail sales, ensuring consistency and brand alignment.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to create engaging marketing materials, including brochures, sales presentations, and digital media.
  • Design and layout point of purchase signage and displays, meeting retailer requirements.
  • Source and secure graphic elements, such as logos and character art, from industry manufacturers and licensees.
  • Work with the Graphic Design Manager to deliver final art to production vendors and oversee the production phase.
  • Develop new product designs for retail sale, maintaining quality and consistency.
Web Initiatives
  • Update and maintain our corporate website and social media presence.
  • Communicate with online customers and promotional participants in a customer service capacity.
Additional Duties
  • Assist in other work-related areas as required.
  • Contribute to product photography and photo editing efforts.
Requirements
  • Experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment is preferred.
  • Outstanding design and visual skills, with the ability to contribute creative ideas and solutions.
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication, and follow-up skills, adapted for internal and external communication.
  • Ability to work in a team environment with a high degree of autonomy and responsibility.
  • Ability to multi-task projects to meet deadlines, anticipate issues, and provide creative solutions.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint tools.
  • Demonstrated understanding of typography, layout, color, and user experience.
  • Strong communication and listening skills, with the ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
Environmental and Physical Activity Requirements

The daily responsibilities of this position require effective talking, hearing, sitting, walking, and standing functions. The position also requires frequent repetitive motion activities. Must be able to read print and computer-based materials with consistent accuracy.

Intellectual/Emotional Requirements

The occupant of this position must be able to perform the responsibilities well under pressure, adapting to changing priorities and tasks while maintaining composure and efficiency.
