Job Summary:
Nexstar Media Group is seeking a skilled TV Director to lead our live and taped broadcasts. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for creating engaging content, managing technical aspects, and ensuring a high-quality final product.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct live broadcasts, including news and special events
- Design and implement graphics and shot sheets for newscasts
- Collaborate with the news department and production team to achieve project goals
- Adjust to breaking news and changing circumstances
- Perform other duties as assigned, such as assistant directing and studio camera operation
Requirements:
- Four-year degree in communication or related field
- Three years of experience directing in a television or production facility
- Knowledge of state-of-the-art equipment and techniques used in producing and directing live and taped broadcasts
- Valid driver's license
