JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is seeking a Software Vehicle Test Engineer/Operator to engage in the evaluation of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) features. The client is a leading semiconductor firm based in Santa Clara.

In this role, the individual will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Conduct comprehensive AV software testing for autonomous driving functionalities (such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping, etc.) and parking systems, working in collaboration with teams across the NVIDIA Automotive platform.
- Validate the NVIDIA Drive product within the vehicle, assess requirements, develop testing metrics, and establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for evaluation. - Design test routes and execute in-vehicle tests on a larger scale to ensure software quality meets user expectations. - Document incidents according to established protocols, enhancing reports and communication in collaboration with team members. - Travel to various locations to conduct in-vehicle testing as per test plans, gathering data from proving grounds and public roads to ensure thorough real-world evaluation of ADAS/AS software features. - Gather insightful feedback from in-vehicle test drives and present findings to multi-functional feature leads. - Troubleshoot issues, collaborating with engineers to identify root causes and contribute to process enhancements.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in testing, validation, and verification.
  • Experience in vehicle testing, specifically verification and validation.
  • Prior experience testing ADAS features.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Ability to perform detailed analysis of testing data and create test plans from the ground up; willingness to travel frequently and work weekends (approximately 40% travel).
  • Proficient in troubleshooting within Linux or QNX environments.
