Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our interdisciplinary team at Rehabilitation Hospital of Wisconsin. As a vital member of our care team, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive rehabilitation programs to patients in the Milwaukee area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Under the guidance of a supervising Physical Therapist, you will acquire pertinent information and implement comprehensive rehabilitation programs using varied techniques and treatment activities.
  • You will review and modify treatment plans in response to changing patient needs, identifying equipment and discharge requirements.
  • As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will assist patients in preparing for treatment and provide support during therapy sessions.
  • You will communicate effectively with support personnel regarding treatment orders and collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant
  • Previous experience in patient care is preferred
  • Current BLS/CPR certification
