Join Our Team as a Physical Therapist Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at Rehabilitation Hospital of Wisconsin. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in the rehabilitation process, working closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Under the guidance of a supervising Physical Therapist, you will implement treatment programs using various techniques and activities, reviewing and modifying treatment as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • You will be responsible for assisting patients in preparing for treatment and providing support during therapy sessions.
  • As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work with diverse patient populations, documenting treatment progress and collaborating with support personnel to ensure seamless care.
  • You will apply physical agents, therapeutic exercises, and gait-training activities as outlined by the licensed Physical Therapist, progressing patients as necessary to achieve optimal results.

Requirements:

  • Current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant
  • Previous experience in patient care is preferred, but not required
  • Current BLS/CPR certification
