Position Summary:
The Welder plays a crucial role in the production process by accurately assembling various components and/or sub-assemblies into designated fixtures and performing welding or repairing defective welds.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in a manufacturing setting is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

- Properly placing components or subassemblies into designated fixtures and joining them through GMAW (Gas-Metal Arc Welding).
- Utilizing product and process knowledge to identify non-conformance issues and promptly notifying supervisors or Quality Auditors.
- Flexibility to rotate into different production teams as necessary to meet production schedules and company objectives.
- Upholding good housekeeping practices at all times.
- Capability to set up welding equipment, including gas changes.
- Experience in MIG welding is required.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does not entail supervisory responsibilities.

Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this role, the team member is regularly required to communicate effectively.

This position is highly active, requiring the team member to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, balance, reach, handle, and climb throughout the day.

The team member may need to lift and/or move items exceeding 50 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required for this role include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those encountered while performing the essential functions of this job.

During the performance of job duties, the team member will work around moving mechanical parts, heavy equipment, and conveyor systems.

Work may occur in outdoor weather conditions across all seasons, with noise levels typically ranging from moderate to loud.

Additionally, the team member may be exposed to dust, fumes, gases, noise, heat, cold, and wet conditions while performing job duties.

This position requires personal protective equipment such as work gloves, safety glasses, earplugs, cut-resistant sleeves, and seasonal gear, which will be provided (contingent on position). Team members are also required to provide their own steel-toed shoes or boots with metatarsal guards.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time hourly position, with hours and days determined by production needs.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance:
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
