Position Overview
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Senior Structural Engineer to become a vital member of our innovative team. This role presents an exciting chance to engage in a diverse range of complex projects, guiding them from initial concept through detailed design and construction phases. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in structural engineering and will be tasked with ensuring the structural integrity of our projects. This position demands a high level of technical expertise along with exceptional project management capabilities. With a commitment to quality, efficiency, and safety, the Senior Structural Engineer will be instrumental in delivering projects on schedule, within budget, and adhering to the highest standards of structural integrity.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop comprehensive designs for structural components and systems utilizing Revit and other relevant software.
2. Provide expert technical advice and guidance on structural design matters to project teams.
3. Oversee project delivery from concept to completion, ensuring timely, budget-conscious, and high-quality outcomes.
4. Lead and coordinate the efforts of junior engineers and other team members.
5. Conduct site visits and inspections to verify construction aligns with design specifications.
6. Communicate effectively with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project coordination.
7. Prepare and present reports, proposals, technical drawings, and other necessary documentation.
8. Stay informed about the latest advancements in structural engineering and integrate this knowledge into designs.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or a related discipline; a Master's degree is a plus.
2. At least 4 years of experience in structural design engineering, ideally within a consulting environment.
3. Proficiency in Revit and other structural design software.
4. Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and practices.
5. Proven project management skills with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
6. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with various stakeholders.
8. High attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
9. Proficient problem-solving skills and sound technical decision-making abilities.
10. Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent is preferred.
