Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented SNO Mass Program Administrator to join our team at Housing Assistance. The successful candidate will be responsible for the successful administration of the SNO Mass program, including coordination and delivery of SNO Mass Services, landlord support and recruitment, and internal coordination of leasing and inspection staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and deliver SNO Mass Services, including outreach, intake/assessment, case management, housing search and placement, and stabilization.
  • Motivational coaching and counseling to help participants achieve their housing goals.
  • Lead and deliver workshops and trainings to address housing barriers and provide education on HAC programs and resources.
  • Support landlords in complying with program requirements and respond to inquiries and complaints.
  • Process changes in ownership and prepare written responses as needed.
  • Resolve problems and minor owner issues and maintain current and working understanding of applicable state and federal policies and HAC's internal procedures and policies.
Requirements
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • Counseling and assessment skills.
  • Familiarity with the region, including transportation, school systems, amenities, and services.
  • Valid Massachusetts driver's license.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in PC-based computer software.
  • The ability to meet deadlines, comprehend and utilize complex program regulations and procedures, and be sensitive to confidential issues and the needs of households with low-income.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 3 years of experience in social services, case management, customer service, or experience in real estate, subsidized housing programs, and fair housing.
