About the Job

We are seeking highly skilled Bridge Inspection Experts to join our team. As a key member of our construction management team, you will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of roadway reconstruction, rehabilitation, and maintenance projects, including concrete curb, gutter, and sidewalk reconstruction; ADA upgrade; and guardrail replacement/installation.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform detailed inspections of bridge infrastructure to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Communicate inspection findings through clear and concise written reports and verbal communication.
  • Apply mathematical principles, including algebra and geometry, to perform accurate measurements and calculations.
  • Use materials testing equipment to assess quality and durability.
  • Prepare and maintain project records using contract management and Microsoft 365 software.
Requirements:
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent certification.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Proficiency in mathematics, including algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.
  • Ability to use materials testing equipment effectively.
  • Competence in personal computers (Windows and MS Office applications) and project/contract management software.
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Able to work in various weather conditions and terrains.
  • ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician Grade I and VDOT Intermediate Work Zone Traffic Control & Flagger certifications.
