Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Overnight Room Service Server to join our team at Nemacolin Inc. As an In-Room Dining specialist, you will create an intimate dining experience within the guest room, while providing world-class service. You will also assist with making magical moments for our guests through delivery of amenities & other special guest requests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and adhere to all resort service standards and expectations.
  • Prioritize tasks and have a keen eye for detail, including but not limited to mise en place, table setups, and checklists.
  • Work and communicate as part of a cohesive team.
  • Have POS - point of sales - knowledge.
  • Have basic computer (PC) knowledge and usage.
  • Obtain and maintain a RAMP certificate through the state of PA.
  • Maintain and care for department assets, including but not limited to serviceware, tables, and room service vehicle.
  • Adhere to SOS - sequence of service - for an in-room dining experience, meeting all standards.
  • Stay up to date on menu knowledge and allergy awareness.
  • Assist with guest requests from guest profiles in our RMS - SevenRooms/Host, including but not limited to contact information, preferences, and information to create real-life magic (anniversaries, birthdays, personal preferences, etc).
  • Have excellent communication skills, with proper phone etiquette.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and maintain collective and genuine in high-volume situations.
  • Adhere to SOPs, including but not limited to phone etiquette, personal appearance, timing, and attendance, guest interactions.
  • Maintain a luxury mini-bar amenity, including a variety of high-end retail food and beverage items.
  • Adhere to cash handling and proper tender transactions.
  • Knowledge of menus for all food and beverage operations, in addition to general and accurate resort information.
Requirements
  • Friendly and outgoing personality.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to stand up to 8 hours at a time, use stairs if necessary.
  • Valid driver's license and comfortable driving a company vehicle responsibly, adhering to state driving regulations.
  • Must be able to speak the English language fluently.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical functions.
  • Must be able to handle high-pressure situations.
  • Customer service experience preferred; room service experience preferred.
  • Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including but not limited to holidays, weekends, evenings, early mornings, and overnight shifts.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to effectively perform multiple tasks.
  • Ability to interface professionally with business contacts and customers.
  • Strong understanding of the hospitality industry helpful.
