Sales Account Manager

Job Description:
The Account Manager is responsible for delivering sales volume, distribution, merchandising, and pricing performance. This role covers all channels of business, with a primary focus on the wholesale and retail channel. The Account Manager manages a territory and is responsible for developing and executing business plans to existing customers, including pricing, promotions, and prospecting for new potential customers. The goal is to exceed customer expectations and deliver sustainable growth within company budgeted guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Warp's branded portfolio within assigned geography, ensuring proper planning and implementation of sales programs, pricing structures, and promotions with the Director of Sales.
- Collaborate with Warp's customer service team to develop chemistry and gain understanding of our go-to-market strategy with respective customers.
- Serve customers by selling products and exceeding customer requirements.
- Promptly follow up on and execute on all accounts' needs, inquiries, and concerns.
- Handle account details to ensure all pertinent aspects of solicitation and communication are complete and documented.
- Contribute new ideas and market information received from customers to increase sales and achieve company-established sales and performance goals.
- Assist in the design and implementation of promotions and programs to increase profitable sales.
- Recommend changes in products, service, and sales policy by monitoring and evaluating company and competitive results.
- Travel to conduct outside sales calls to promote company products, develop leads, and service existing accounts (up to 25% travel).
- Communicate with management regularly, including daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly analysis.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- 2-3 years of sales experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- MS Office proficiency, including the ability to use PowerPoint to develop presentations.
- Mathematical and analytical skills.
- Ability to listen and communicate with customers and team members in a positive and professional manner, both verbally and in writing.
- Represent the company at trade shows and business networking events, setting up exhibits that may involve bending, stooping, and lifting.
- Ability to manage time and prioritize work.
