Under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Technician I serves as an entry-level role dedicated to the setup, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive upkeep of machinery. This position is crucial for ensuring operational efficiency and is supported by experienced leads.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the functionality of machinery and mechanical systems through routine maintenance and effective troubleshooting.
  • Identify the root causes of issues by monitoring equipment in operation and utilizing diagnostic tools.
  • Replace faulty components and assess necessary adjustments in specifications.
  • Calibrate operational parts and control devices, including the fabrication of replacement components.
  • Oversee the inventory of equipment, parts, and maintenance supplies.
  • Document mechanical maintenance activities and generate reports for review.
  • Stay updated on technical knowledge and uphold a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to perform repairs related to building systems, lighting, and plumbing as required.
Qualifications:
  • Completion of high school education or equivalent (GED).
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience or a suitable combination of education and experience.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
