  • Monitor supplies in the concession area and replenish items as needed throughout the shift.
  • Clean counters using appropriate cleaning solutions and cloths.
  • Ensure that the counter and surrounding areas are kept tidy at all times.
  • Communicate with the stand leader regarding shortages or special requests from customers.
  • Retrieve food items from storage or serving areas.
  • Arrange items on trays or in takeout containers for customers.
  • Verify orders to ensure guests receive complete and accurate items.
  • Operate concession equipment such as popcorn machines and ice cream makers.
  • Prior experience in food service is not mandatory.
  • Ability to stand and maintain a fast pace for up to six hours, with the capability to bend and lift items weighing up to 25 pounds frequently.
  • Communicate clearly and listen attentively to customers and team members.
  • Prepare and store food items properly.
  • Set up and maintain a clean workstation.

Certifications Required:

A Kentucky Horse Racing Commission license is mandatory for all workers at the track.

A valid Fayette County Food Handler's license is required for all food and beverage personnel.
