Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Global Underwriting Specialist to join our team at Globex International Group. As a key member of our Global Underwriting Department, you will be responsible for managing multinational accounts and providing exceptional service to our clients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of commercial insurance and a proven track record of success in a similar role. You will be responsible for learning and adhering to Globex's requirements, guidelines, and procedures, as well as developing knowledge and understanding of assigned books of business.

This is an exciting opportunity for a self-starter to hone skills beyond basics and contribute to the efficiency and profitability of a small but highly systematic organization that is constantly growing and improving.

Key Responsibilities
  • Learn and adhere to Globex's requirements, guidelines, and procedures
  • Develop knowledge and understanding of assigned books of business
  • Manage multinational accounts and provide exceptional service to clients
  • Work closely with senior members of the Global Underwriting Department for training and support
  • Utilize our online platform for transacting business and respond to client requests within 24 to 48 hours
  • Escalate matters to client relationship managers when appropriate and provide support on assigned research initiatives and projects
Requirements
  • College Bachelor's Degree or higher in a related field
  • 0-1 years commercial insurance experience
  • Multinational account management experience is a plus
  • Fluent spoken and written English language skills are required
  • Additional languages are a plus
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other common IT solutions
  • Excellent and effective written and verbal communication skills with business professionals from different countries and territories
  • Ability to stay highly organized and work in a detail-oriented manner
  • Self-motivated, self-disciplined, positive attitude, and service-oriented to a resourceful position for colleagues and partners
