Night Court Support Specialist

Job Summary:
The Center for Alternative is seeking a highly skilled Night Court Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Supervised Release program, you will play a critical role in supporting individuals released from court appearances.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support and guidance to participants in the Supervised Release program, ensuring their successful transition back into the community.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community-based service providers to ensure seamless referrals and support for program participants.
- Collaborate with court personnel to facilitate program admissions and maintain the Center for Alternative's credibility in the judicial process.
- Conduct outreach and fieldwork in the community to engage with participants and provide support services.
- Assess and address the needs of participants, including housing, income support, education, and vocational training, social supports, employment, and primary care.
- Provide mobile crisis response to participants in distress and facilitate their transport to hospitals or other necessary services.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with judges, prosecutors, defense counsel, and other court partners to ensure effective program implementation.
- Ensure compliance with program requirements and court mandates, while providing culturally competent and anti-racist services to participants.
- Participate in supervision, case review, and staff meetings to develop professional skills and contribute to the success of the program.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience providing peer support to individuals with serious mental illness and criminal justice involvement.
- Proficiency with computer and electronic case records.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Spanish speaking skills.
- CASAC or CASAC-T certification.
