Vascular Sonographer

Morristown Medical Center is seeking a skilled Vascular Sonographer to join our team on a per diem basis. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality vascular studies, utilizing your expertise in sonographic techniques to ensure accurate diagnoses and exceptional patient care.

• Perform vascular scans in accordance with established department protocols, adhering to IAC vascular standards and Atlantic Health System policies.
• Complete clerical tasks associated with vascular exams, including accurate and timely recording of testing information.
• Utilize DICOM workflow, including work list, imaging, exporting, and preliminary reporting.
• Conduct various vascular tests, including venous and arterial duplex, PVR/ABI, carotid, temporal artery, AAA duplex, renal duplex, and SMA duplex.

• Graduate of an accredited CVT school with a focus on vascular sonography (CAAHEP accredited preferred).
• Credentialed with American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) certification required.
• Minimum one year of experience in the field (clinical externships do not count towards years of experience).
