Job Summary:

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the overall maintenance and upkeep of the property, including performing routine maintenance tasks, responding to maintenance requests, and ensuring the property is safe and secure for residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
  • Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify and address any maintenance issues.
  • Assist with the maintenance and repair of equipment and systems, including but not limited to, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Work with the Maintenance Supervisor and other departments to ensure that maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Assist with the cleaning and maintenance of common areas, including but not limited to, lobbies, hallways, and amenities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or other management staff.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least one year of experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a related field.
  • Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 50+ pounds or more.
  • Ability to frequently stoop, kneel, bend, lift, and reach, climb stairs, and inspect rooftops.

Working Conditions:

The Maintenance Technician will work in a fast-paced environment and will be required to work in a variety of settings, including but not limited to, outdoors, in confined spaces, and in areas with loud noises.
