Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in Metairie, LA. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing all company equipment and tooling within the facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance, conduct inspections, troubleshoot, diagnose failures & deficiencies, and perform necessary corrections.
  • Complete and maintain all service, parts/inventory records in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Complete daily checklists as required for proper operation of maintenance being performed.
  • Assure daily maintenance duties performed and communicate any problems or issues with the unit immediately upon discovery.
  • Follow safety protocols and review all applicable SOPs.
  • Conduct safety checks and annual inspections.
  • Perform fabricating, welding, modifications, pump & piping installs, and ensure work meets all applicable Health and Safety Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment and performing other assignments as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years maintenance experience in a plant or industrial environment preferred.
  • Plant maintenance experience in one or more of the following areas: mechanically inclined/strong troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, pneumatics, installations.
  • Willing and open to continuous learning.
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the position and lift up to 50lbs.
  • Clean and valid driver's license.
