Job Title: Demand Planner

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Demand Planner to join our Outdoor Performance Demand Planning team at Revelyst. The successful candidate will be responsible for estimating future demand for Outdoor Performance products and analyzing inventory flow to build forecasting models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize software to generate statistical unit demand forecasting for forecast group/sku level.
  • Collaborate with internal consensus participants (product/trade-marketing/sales) to gather input.
  • Manage sku level forecasting by forecast group-location.
  • Establish inventory policies for assigned sku's using software.
  • Responsible for achieving on-hand inventory goals through parameter settings and push/pull of inventory replenishment.
  • A key contributor to the performance of outdoor sales and operations planning (S&OP) process.
  • Product life cycle management (beginning of life-end of life planning).
  • Manage product flow by month.
  • Plan exit strategies and transition plans for excess inventory.

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a Demand Planner or a similar role.
  • Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures.
  • Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge.
  • Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
