Job Summary:

Spectrum Health Systems is seeking a skilled Nurse to join our team as a Medication Administration Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for administering medication to incarcerated patients enrolled in our Medication for Addiction Treatment (MAT) Program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer medication to patients in accordance with state and federal standards and regulations
  • Triage patients referred to treatment for Opioid Use and/or Alcohol Use Disorder
  • Control, count, and administer medication in accordance with state and federal standards and regulations

Requirements:

  • Valid MA nursing license from an accredited school required, LPN or RN
  • Current CPR certificate or obtain certification within 90 days of hire
  • Experience in substance abuse/mental health field or acute care inpatient healthcare environment preferred
  • DOC experience preferred

Work Environment:

This is a full-time position with a schedule of 25 hours per week, with no mandating. The shift time is 5am-10am, and the location is the Old Colony Correctional Center in Bridgewater, MA.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay rate is $35.00/hour, plus a weekend shift differential of $10.00 more per hour. Spectrum Health Systems offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off and tuition reimbursement/loan repayment options.
