Job Description:
We are looking for a Radiology Tech with expertise in general x-ray and CT imaging. Under general supervision, the technologist will perform advanced professional duties in capturing and processing radiographic images and conducting fluoroscopy examinations. The role may involve circulating to various diagnostic radiology departments as directed by the supervisor, including surgery, trauma, and pediatrics, and may also include participation in training programs to broaden skills in specialized radiology areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate standard and portable radiology equipment to conduct a variety of radiographic examinations, including intravenous pyelography, cystography, gastrointestinal series, and body section radiography.
  • Assist physicians and perform specialized imaging procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to equipment and film output.
  • Serve as a resource and mentor for other Radiographers and students.
  • Maintain records, inventory, and equipment pertinent to the primary area of responsibility.
Qualifications:

Education: Associate's degree or higher preferred, with graduation from a CAAHEP accredited program focusing on cardiovascular or radiologic technology specialties as defined by ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI.

Experience: Minimum of one year of full-time experience as a certified or registered cardiovascular or radiologic technology professional in the relevant specialty.

Certifications & Licenses: Required certifications include Rad Tech with X-ray and CT.
