Electrical Supervisor II Job Description

ASARCO LLC is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor II to lead our electrical maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, directing, and supervising the work of electrical and instrumentation maintenance staff to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direction and supervision to electrical and instrumentation maintenance personnel
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and programs to ensure optimal system performance
  • Coordinate and oversee new installation and project work, including developing and ordering necessary supplies and materials
  • Monitor and control department budget costs, electrical repairs, and maintenance costs within operating budgets
  • Assist in monitoring and controlling department budget costs, electrical repairs, and maintenance costs within operating budgets
Requirements:
  • Five years' experience as a front-line electrical supervisor in the mining industry or other heavy industry
  • Demonstrated performance and experience as a journey-level electrician in the mining industry or other heavy industry
  • Experience with safely operating and maintaining power distribution circuits and equipment through 13.8kV and medium voltage motor control
  • Formal training and first-hand experience in programming and maintenance of industrial PLC's, preferably Allen-Bradley
