Experienced Early Childhood Education Professional

Join North Bay Children as an Experiened Early Childhood Education Professional and take on a leadership role in our dynamic team. As a Head Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing daily operations of students and the classroom.
This is a full-time position that requires a sensitive and mature individual who can relate well with children, parents, and colleagues. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in ECE programs. They will also hold a valid CTC Teacher Permit or equivalent qualification. In addition to their technical skills, they will possess a solid working knowledge of Community Care Licensing requirements, California Department of Education regulations, and industry best practices.
The Head Teacher will be responsible for implementing curriculum and activities that support the objectives of North Bay Children's Culture of Health. They will also maintain a safe, orderly, and inviting classroom environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety standards. Additionally, they will conduct ongoing Desired Results Developmental Profile (DRDP) assessments on children and utilize the Environmental Rating Scales (ECERS) to plan and implement curriculum.
Responsibilities- Plan, organize, and direct daily operations of students and the classroom
- Maintain a safe, orderly, and inviting classroom environment
- Implement curriculum and activities that support the objectives of North Bay Children's Culture of Health
- Conduct ongoing DRDP assessments on children and utilize ECERS to plan and implement curriculum
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including payroll, sick leave, and vacation time for staff members
- Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and other stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in ECE programs
- Valid CTC Teacher Permit or equivalent qualification
- Strong background in early childhood education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
