We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Childcare Educator to join our team at North Bay Children. This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about working with infants and toddlers, and has a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and education.

Job Description:

This position involves working closely with our teaching team to plan and implement engaging activities that meet the unique needs of each child. You will be responsible for creating a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment that promotes social-emotional, cognitive, fine motor, gross motor, and physical development in children.

As a Childcare Educator, you will work collaboratively with other staff members to maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment. This includes setting up daily activities, maintaining classroom documents, and reporting any incidents or concerns to the Head Teacher or Site Supervisor.

You will also be expected to develop positive relationships with parents through regular communication and facilitate open dialogue about their child's progress.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to engage in ongoing professional development, attend workshops and conferences, and participate in training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience working with infants and toddlers
  • Certification in Pediatric First Aid and CPR
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical demands of the job
  • Valid California Driver's License (if transporting children)
