Job Opportunity: Wound Care Physician, Advanced Practice Provider

AmeriWound is seeking a skilled Wound Care Physician, Advanced Practice Provider to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will provide wound care services in long-term care facilities, utilizing your expertise to assess, diagnose, treat, monitor, and heal patient wounds.

About the Role:

  • Provide wound care services in skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and long-term care settings.
  • Assess and diagnose patient wounds, developing treatment plans to promote healing and prevent complications.
  • Collaborate with facility clinical staff to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities as necessary.

Requirements:

  • MD, DO, PA, CRNP degree.
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible.
  • Active, unrestricted state medical license.
  • DEA license.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency with EMR software.

  • Uncapped W-2 earning potential, directly proportionate to provider availability, EMR documentation, and patient volume.

  • Mileage reimbursement based on standard IRS guidelines.
