We are seeking a talented attorney to join our team at State Farm. As a Fortune 50 company, we pride ourselves on being a leader in the insurance and financial services industry.

Our ideal candidate will have 3+ years of civil litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense, including experience handling No Fault/PIP, Bodily Injury, and Premises Liability litigation. Strong automation/technological skills for lawsuit handling and courtroom presentation are also a must.

We offer a congenial, team-oriented, and professional work environment with skilled support staff. Our Southfield, MI office is based in an active and busy insurance defense practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload with time-sensitive work
  • Develop and implement trial strategies
  • Collaborate with support staff to ensure efficient case handling

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an ABA accredited law school
  • Active license to practice law in Michigan and membership in good standing with the state bar
  • 3+ years of civil litigation experience in insurance defense
